Sgt. Pepper’s Was Recreated In Its Entirety As A Star Wars Parody

An artist known as Palette-Swap Ninja has re-recorded the entirety of the Beatles’ classic Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Heart Clubs Band as a Star Wars parody.

Titled Princess Leia’s Stolen Death Star Plans, the project follows the story of A New Hope with extremely creative lyrics that will have both Beatles fans and Star Wars fans laughing hysterically.

The project took five years to make, and was released for free on the artist's website, where fans can even download the audio.

From “Luke Is In The Desert And Whining” to “Being From The Spaceport Of Mos Eisley,” it’s cleverly nerdy in all the best ways.

Better yet, the project has a full YouTube playlist with video from the movie as well as lyrics, driving home the extent of the jokes.

What better way to spend ‘May The Fourth’ and the 50th anniversary of Sgt. Pepper’s than with this shockingly brilliant mashup?

May the Fourth be with you all.
