Eddie Vedder sported a Murphy's Bleachers T-shirt (based on his exploits on the day prior), before switching into a good ol' Cubs Jersey for the first of two nights at Wrigley Field.

It was a setlist peppered with great cover songs from The Ramones (a Cubs-appropriate "I Believe In Miracles"), The Beatles, double Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan and, for local flair, Cheap Trick.

It was not without sentimental moments as well, with ex-NFL player, currently battling ALS, Steve Gleason introducing "Inside Job".

Vedder also dedicated "Light Years" to Tragically Hip's Gord Downie and talked about the inspiration for "Bee Girl".

Former Cub Jose Cardenal (his favorite player of all time) and the family of hall-of-famer Ron Santo joined Eddie for the first song of the final encore, his hopeful/sad Cubs anthem "Someday We'll Go All The Way".  During the song's intro gives major props to Cubs ownership, front office and team members, and even acknowledges the city allowing them to play until 2am at the venue a few years back.
