Mike Gordon @ Lincoln Hall: Stream and Download

Among the many changes around here in the next several weeks will be an increased focus on offering more multimedia content, especially audio and video.  Our goal is to be a hub of sorts for streams and iPod ready downloads for notable Chicago area shows -- both out in the burbs and all around town.  To kick things off, here's a treat from Phish bassist Mike Gordon's trip to Lincoln Hall in November.

Mike's trademark thump can be felt throughout this recording and he and his band put together a songlist that mixes the best of his solo work (Idea, Pretend) with some well-chosen and eclectic covers (Little Feat's Sailin' Shoes, Tower of Power's Down To The Nightclub).  Mike regales the intimate venue with some chatter about his first ever visit to Chicago and his relationship with Chic'ago blues, before kicking into the oft covered by Phish Son Seals nugget, Funky Bitch.
