Sirius XM to Broadcast (Not Simulcast) GD50 Chicago Shows

There's no shortage of ways to view the final three Grateful Dead shows in Chicago, in public or in the privacy of your own home.  But what if you just wanted to listen to the shows, and with a 15 minute delay so you can't really follow along with your buddies on social media?

SiriusXM has the perfect solution.  According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, The Grateful Dead Channel will broadcast each show.  Then re-air them the next day.  Then again, on Labor Day (WTF?) weekend.

The icing on the cake... The Journal issued this correction after previously indicating they would be broadcasting a live simulcast.

Correction: A previous version of the article stated that these would be live. The broadcasts will be on a slight delay and expected to start at 9:15 p.m. EST each day.

Not a big deal, I guess.  But for folks like me who like to do a little twitter with their Couch Tour, it's a bit disappointing.  Just throw it on the pile of options (and the ever increasing brand synergies that Peter Shapiro is bringing to this event).
