Mass Giveaway: Four Holiday Shows at Cubby Bear

2013 has seen the re-emergence of the Cubby Bear as a relevant venue for music in Chicago.   They are wrapping up the year in supercharged fashion and we're helping them celebrate by sending a bunch of our readers to one of four year-end shows that put the exclamation mark on a remarkable year.

Here's what's on tap.

• Old Shoe has had a banner year of their own, they play final Chicago gig dubbed a "Holiday Show" on Thursday, December 19th.  Guests and surprises are promised, so Shoe Family shouldn't miss this one.
• There are holiday shows and there are HOLIDAY shows.  Mr. Blotto continues a tradition on Christmas Day.  When you are sick of the family, spend the night with some Grateful Dead family, as Blotto reels off one of their legendary All-Dead sets.
• Royal Southern Brotherhood is going to perform The Stones' Exile On Main Street on Friday December 27th.  Do you know these guys?  Members of the band have last names of Allman, Neville & Wooten.  Spread opens the show.
• Recently transplanted to Chicago, Main Squeeze find themselves on the short list of the city's breakout artists for 2013.  To celebrate they are going to ring in a funky New Year with Indigo Sun and Crussia.
