Late Night Roundup | War On Drugs, Thundercat, Ryan Adams & alt-J

Watch some of Tomorrows Verse’s favorite bands hit the promotional late-night television circuit.

1. War On Drugs perform “Holding On” on Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

With a new album out in August, the War On Drugs brought their spacey new single to Colbert. Featuring four guitars and two keyboardists, the song is a densely layered, chilled out psychedelic track that certainly gets us excited to hear more.

2. Thundercat performs “Show You The Way” with Michael McDonald and Kenny Loggins on The Tonight Show.

Bassist, producer and songwriter Thundercat gave a truly unique late-night performance on The Tonight Show. Dressed in board shorts and a purple wig, the bassist performs the funky soul number “Show You The Way” with Kenny Loggins adding vocals and Michael McDonald on keyboard for a performance that was nothing short of amazing.

3. Ryan Adams performs “Doomsday” on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Continuing a grueling promotion of his recently released Prisoner, Ryan Adams brought a straight-forward but hard-hitting performance of “Doomsday” to Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show. Driven by crunchy electric guitars and a heartfelt vocal performance, the performance packs a serious punch.

4. alt-J perform “In Cold Blood” on Conan.

This infectious single from alt-J features the alternative trio backed by a horn section, giving the track a massive backing.
